Hosting Business After Hours Event
This event serves as an excellent opportunity to showcase your facility to the business community of the Mohawk Valley. It is the Chamber's intention to maximize both the benefit to member businesses as well as provide a valuable networking experience for our members.
Our policies regarding hosting and sponsoring "Business After Hours" are as follows:
- Sponsors must be Mohawk Valley Chamber members in good standing.
- Sponsors are responsible to provide food and beverages (alcohol and non alcohol) at no cost to the attendees.
- Sponsors are encouraged to use local products (ie Saranac beverages) and Chamber members whenever possible.
- Sponsors should have ample space for registration and provide a table and two chairs for registration.
- The Chamber will handle registration at the event, as well as collection of $10.00 for Chamber members and $20.00 for non-members. No charge will be made to your invited guests. We ask that you provide us with your invite list prior to the event.
- The Chamber retains all registration fees to cover our printing and mailing costs to promote the event.
- The Chamber will promote and advertise the event in the monthly Chamber "Action" newsletter, the online electronic newsletter "Week In Action", the Chamber's website, as well as in a press release to the local media.
- The Chamber welcomes you listing any caterer of your event on the promotion material, providing that they also are a member of the Chamber.
- The Chamber will produce a flyer/rsvp form for our newsletter, if you wish. Please provide us with a copy of your logo. We will send the flyer to you for approval prior to printing. You may use the backside of this flyer to advertise your company should you wish to do so.
- The Chamber will promote the host/ sponsor exclusively. No solicitation material from other members will be permitted at the event.
- We would appreciate that sponsors give the Chamber a 60-day cancellation notice so that we can make alternative arrangements should you not be able to host the event.
