Welcome to the Mohawk Valley. Whether you're a resident or a visitor, Upstate New York's Mohawk Valley offers a unique experience for everyone.

The Mohawk Valley covers approximately 5,882 square miles that includes six different counties and almost 200 cities, towns, and villages. The region makes up one-sixth of New York State and serves over one million residents. Situated at the base of the foothills of the six million acre Adirondack Preserve, the Mohawk Valley is only a four to five hour drive from New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Montreal.

The region offers a wide variety of settings for new and expand- ing businesses, for family life, for recreation and for life long experiences. The Mohawk Valley has been a passageway for people, ideas, goods and services that produced a diverse cultural background. As a result it has helped to "shape and solidify an American nation."
